Dr. Tim Assey
Dr. Tim Assey, D.M.D. was born and raised in Georgetown, SC where his father served the community as a general physician for decades. Dr. Assey received his Doctorate from MUSC College of Dental Medicine. Following hurricane Hugo he co-founded the East Cooper Community Outreach Clinic, which provides no-cost dental care. He served on the SC State Board of Dentistry since 2003 and as Board President in 2009.
Dr. Assey is a clinical instructor in the Department of Implant and Restorative Dentistry at the MUSC College of Dental Medicine, and also serves as a clinical examiner for the Southern Regional Testing Association. Dr. Assey attends the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is a member of the Spear Faculty Club. In his leisure time Dr. Assey is an avid golfer, doting husband, father and grandfather.

Dr. John Assey
Dr. John Assey, D.M.D. was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant with deep and meaningful ties to his community. Dr. Assey received his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston where he was a two time Academic All-American on the Golf Team. Dr. Assey received his Doctorate from MUSC College of Dental Medicine where he was awarded the prestigious Radiology award for excellence in diagnosis.
Following his family’s tradition of community service, Dr. Assey is a volunteer dentist at the East Cooper Community Outreach Dental Clinic and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club. Dr. Assey has completed extensive continuing education in the field of implant and restorative dentistry. He is a member of the Charleston Study Club and graduate of the Las Vegas Institute Endodontic Program. Dr. Assey strives to form life-long relationships with each of his patients built on communication and trust.
