Kaitlyn Watts, RDH
With 11 years of experience as a dental hygienist, Kaitlyn is passionate about providing high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with her patients. Originally from North Carolina, she graduated from UNC Chapel Hill (go Heels!) and relocated to Charleston in 2018. She has been proud to serve Assey Dental Associates for the past 8 years.
Kaitlyn enjoys working with patients of all ages and takes pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment—especially for those who may feel anxious or nervous about dental visits. She is also experienced and confident in caring for patients with intellectual disabilities, ensuring every individual feels respected, understood, and at ease. Helping patients feel confident in their smiles is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
While she loves her work, Kaitlyn’s favorite role is being a mom to her two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, going to the beach, exploring local wineries with friends, enjoying the outdoors with her husband—her high school sweetheart—and their two dogs, or relaxing on the porch with a good book.

Jody Gotter, RDH
Jody Gotter has been in the dental field for 38 years and joined our practice in November 2020. A graduate of West Liberty University, Jody was inspired to pursue dentistry after always enjoying visits to the dentist as a child.
She is passionate about educating patients on oral health and empowering them to make positive, lasting changes. Jody values being part of a supportive team that truly cares for one another and treats every patient as special.
Originally from Ohio, Jody enjoys spending her time outside of work sewing, hiking, and exploring state and national parks. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 38 years and is a proud mother of three and grandmother of five. At home, she cares for her unique pets—Bella, her American Bully, and Oogway, her 22-year-old Sulcata tortoise.
Jody also enjoys trying foods from different cultures and traveling to destinations like Italy, Hawaii, and Costa Rica—especially anywhere she can hike or snorkel. In her free time, she and her husband are restoring their 1868 home, where she’s developed hands-on skills in woodworking and plumbing.

Nicole Pisanti, RDH
Nicole Pisanti has been a dental hygienist for over 8 years and joined our practice in January 2026. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for while achieving healthy, beautiful smiles.
Originally from Georgia, Nicole relocated in 2025 and has enjoyed getting to know the area and community. Outside of the office, she stays active coaching group fitness classes and spending time with her fiancé, Andrew. She’s also a proud dog mom to her two pups, Banks and Riggs, who keep her busy and smiling.
When she’s relaxing, Nicole enjoys unwinding with her favorite movie, Anyone But You.

Melissa Lange
Melissa Lange has over 26 years of experience in the dental field and has been a valued member of our team since 2005. She specializes in chairside support for implant surgeries and general dental procedures, bringing skill, efficiency, and compassion to every patient interaction.
Melisa is dedicated to ensuring patient comfort and takes pride in helping patients feel informed and at ease by answering questions and guiding them through each step of their care. Her goal is to create a positive, comfortable experience for every individual she serves.
Outside of the office, Melisa enjoys staying active through running and working out, as well as attending sporting events with her husband, Andy, and their three sons, Wrigley, Hayden, and Maddux—often cheering them on from the sidelines.

Xiarady Viveros
Xiarady has been in the dental field for two years and joined our practice one year ago. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and ensuring each visit is a positive, welcoming experience.
Originally from Lexington, South Carolina, Xiarady comes from a proud Guatemalan family background. She recently married her husband, Julio, and relocated to the Charleston area, where she has been enjoying settling into the community.
Xiarady is dedicated to supporting both patients and her team, bringing warmth and compassion to every interaction.
Dental Assistant
Keirin von Ramm
Keirin von Ramm is an experienced Dental Assistant with 12 years in the dental field, including 7 years dedicated to her current practice. She received her professional education at Tallinn Technical College and holds a degree in Nursing, reflecting her strong and comprehensive background in patient care.
Originally from Estonia, Keirin is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures and culinary experiences, as well as hiking and boating. She is also trilingual. She lives in Charleston with her husband, Karl, and their beloved pets: a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Frasier—also the namesake of her favorite TV show—and two cats, all of whom made the journey with them from Estonia.

Jan Stevens
Jan Stevens has over 27 years of experience in the dental field, including 25 years with our practice. As Practice Leader and Office Manager, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming, efficient, and patient-focused environment.
Jan is passionate about enhancing the patient experience and takes pride in helping each patient feel cared for and understood. She values working alongside a team she considers family, all committed to exceptional patient care.
Originally from Charleston, Jan enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, working on DIY projects, and attending local events with friends and family. She also loves exploring a variety of ethnic cuisines.
Patient Care Coordinator
Danielle Jackson
Danielle is an experienced Business Administrator at Assey Dental Associates, bringing over 22 years of experience in the dental field, including 15 years with the practice. She plays a key role in the daily operations of the office, managing scheduling, coordinating patient referrals, and assisting with financial arrangements to ensure each patient has a smooth and positive experience.
As a mount pleasant native, Danielle is proud to serve her community and build lasting relationships with patients. Known for her friendly and organized approach, she helps create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone who walks through the door. Her favorite part about working at the practice is the strong friendships she has built with her coworkers and patients.
Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys spending time with her two daughters, gardening, traveling -especially to Belize- and taking care of her cats.
